Yep, according to three pregnancy tests, I am pregnant! I went online to research the chance of having a false-positive pregnancy test and I guess the chances are very unlikely. Although, some sources said that some forms of abdominal cancer can produce a false-positive pregnancy test (great! Something else for me to worry about). I haven't been to a doctor yet so I am trying to be cautious about saying anything. I guess not so cautious since I just posted the news on my blog -- ha!
According to an online due date calculator I am due June 26th, 2009! It's my birthday month too!
My face is breaking out and I am extraordinarily tired but I have yet to experience "morning sickness". Last pregnancy, I started feeling sick early on and it continued throughout the entire first semester. It does worry me that I am not feeling sick because I've read from multiple reliable sources that nausea in pregnancy is actually a good sign of a sustainable pregnancy. So, yes, I'm worried about that.
It feels surreal to be pregnant again. And, I am really terrified of delivery. Delivering Samuel was absolute misery but I can think of no greater reason to go through that misery again than for another wonderful child. But, yes, "scared" would be a good word to use. I am praying to God that my next delivery will be a lot easier. I can't really remember the pain but I do remember the 6-7 hours of pushing. I was miserable and exhausted. I was begging for a c-section and kept saying, "I can't do this!" while the sadistic doctors, nurses, and my wonderful husband kept chanting, "Yes, you can!" I'm being tongue-in-cheek but I do remember having an incredible dislike for the doctor when she told me they needed to take away my epidural.I think it's a complete miracle that we (mothers) can survive giving birth. Heck, the Duggar Mommy has done it seventeen times.
So, we're excited! All that worrying about never getting pregnant again for nothing. I must frustrate God more than anyone (because I worry more than anyone else, I think).

Congratulations! I'm sure that you wouldn't get a false-positive three times :). And don't worry about not feeling sick. I only felt sick one time when I was pregnant and that was before I knew I was pregnant (still not sure if it was actually pregnancy-related). Samantha turned out fine in spite of no sickness :). I've also been told that every pregnancy is different, so even if you feel sick one time you might not the next or vice versa. So excited for your little family!
They took your epidural away? That's mean!
YAY!! congratulations. that is SO exciting :) and to echo what victoria said i wasn't really nauseaous too too much with cael. and it doesn't really hit you until 8 weeks and peaks at around 13. and God is totally and completely sovereign. this little life, and yours, are totally and completely in His wonderful, caring, and competent hands. yay o yay!!
